Using the site
Indie Book List is a free directory of indie books. We try to keep listings accurate, but book details are supplied by authors and we cannot guarantee them. Prices and availability are set by the seller.
Author accounts and submissions
- You must be 18 or over to create an author account, and the information you give must be accurate.
- You must own the rights to the books, covers, photos and text you submit, or have permission to use them.
- By submitting content you give Indie Book List a free, non-exclusive licence to display and promote it on our site, newsletter and social media for as long as it is listed.
- Books written by AI are not accepted. You confirm your book was written by a person when you submit it.
- We review every submission and may decline, edit or remove listings at our discretion, including content that is hateful, illegal, misleading or breaks these terms.
Ratings and reviews
Ratings must be honest and based on your own experience. Authors must not rate their own books or ask for fake ratings. We moderate all ratings and may remove any that break these rules.
Links and affiliate links
We link to other websites, including authors’ shops and Amazon. Some Amazon links are affiliate links. We are not responsible for other websites or purchases you make on them.
Liability
The site is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms from time to time. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
